All-new powertrains, led by the Ford-designed, Ford-engineered and Ford-built 6.7-liter Power StrokeŽ V-8 turbo-diesel engine, highlight the reveal of the 2011 Ford Super Duty. The new Power Stroke engine is the first diesel produced by Ford Motor Company in North America and will achieve significantly improved torque and horsepower while delivering class-leading fuel economy. Remember that Ford commercial in which the narrator recalls seeing someone in a car next to him on the highway, driving with his knees, talking on the phone and eating a cheeseburger? He concludes that it isn't just crazy out there, it's certifiably insane. Turns out, most people agree. According to a new national survey just released last week, the vast majority of U.S. drivers believe hand-held texting while driving is very dangerous and should be banned nationwide.
