Alternative Fleet Technologies on Display,

Renowned Leaders to Speak

Hundreds Coming Together for AltWheels Fleet Day at Staples World HQ

The East Coast's largest display of alternative fleet technologies will be
held at Staples World Headquarters in Framingham, MA on October 5. Included
will be not just energy and money saving technologies under development but
dozens of technologies currently being used by some of the largest companies
in the world.

The event is designed to help fleet managers, corporate, state and
municipal, save money and energy.

"Five years ago we started Fleet Day with more attendees' skeptics than
believers," said Alison Sander, founder of AltWheels. "That balance has
seen a complete 180 degree turn. Seeing is believing, and now almost all the
fleet managers who attend are eager to learn new ways to save energy and
money."

On display will be more than 50 vehicles from the biggest names in the
business, across many platforms, including everything from small "people
movers" to big-rig 18 wheelers featuring a full range of alternative
technologies. Most, except some of the largest vehicles, will be available
for ride and drive by participants.

"We're finally seeing a wide variety of manufacturers producing efficient
vehicles that meet fleet manager's needs," said Mike Payette, Fleet Manager
from Staples. "We're excited to host Fleet Day again to show off some of the
efficient vehicles we're using and to share with others some of the most
efficient technologies available today."

Vehicles on display will include vehicles from some of the biggest names in
the business:

AVSG, Azure Dynamics, Braun, Converdant, Dennis K. Burke, Eaton, Ford, GM,
Honda, Isuzu, Liberty International Trucks, Mercedes Benz, Minute Man
Trucks, Paul Revere Transportation, Smith Electric, Toyota and Trimble.

Some unusual but exciting vehicles will be the GM Fuel cell equinox--one of
only a few in the country--a million dollar prototype of what is to come and
the first Class 6, 100% electric truck in use in the country.

Also on display will be concept and first-of-their-kind vehicles including
some that get 90 mpg or better, with several from Greenfest's 100 mpg
challenge. Two state police CNG vehicles, a Massport CNG van, and a
Hydraulic Lift Assist Hybrid will also be on display. For the full list of
vehicles please see: http://www.altwheels.org/fleetday09.html

AltWheels Fleet Day is already more than 90% full, with only 350 spots
available. Due to security, walk-ins are not allowed, so participants need
to register in advance before we sell out.

"This year's AltWheels will, without a doubt, be the best attended," said
Sander. "Each year more manufacturers produce more efficient technologies
and each year more fleet managers put them on the roads. Our goal is to put
the two together to create a more energy efficient transportation system."

Speakers will include more than 50 nationally renowned leaders on fleet
technologies, industry experts and representatives from some of the biggest
names in the field. For the full list of speakers please see:

Fleet managers, municipal and corporate, from 20 states (as far away as
California), representing 134 cities and towns, 105 companies as well as
more than 61 state and federal agencies are registered to attend.
