NAVTEQ Will Showcase Key Products Supporting Fleets at the American Trucking Association (ATA) Management Conference and Exhibition

Impressive customer solutions will feature NAVTEQ map data and content

CHICAGO, Sept. 30 -- NAVTEQ, the leading global provider of digital map, traffic and location data for in-vehicle, portable, wireless and enterprise solutions, will be showcasing its unique products that support the Mobile Resource Management and Logistics industry, as well as various customer applications at the American Trucking Association Management Conference and Exhibition, October 4 - 7, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

NAVTEQ continues to focus on high quality navigable and transport data for the Mobile Resource Management and Logistics industry. NAVTEQ Transport provides a foundation for developing a wide range of solutions to support fleet management companies. Specifically designed to facilitate turn by turn navigation for trucks and other large vehicles, NAVTEQ Transport data includes detailed road attributes including physical restrictions, legal restrictions and HAZMAT warnings. NAVTEQ also offers Truck POI, which provides value added points of interest (POI) specific to the transport industry. Transport companies can use Truck POI for many applications like routing, optimization, resource management and truck navigation.

NAVTEQ will also highlight NAVTEQ Traffic(TM), which is a comprehensive solution offering delivery of up-to-the minute traffic information. Through this solution, fleets are provided with detailed information about the speed that traffic is moving and incidents such as accidents, allowing drivers to make smart routing and re-routing decisions for more accurate arrival time estimates.

NAVTEQ will feature applications from key transport and logistics customers. The following demonstrations will be delivered over the course of the show in the NAVTEQ booth.

Teletrac: Teletrac is demonstrating Fleet Director 7, the newest version of its award-winning intelligent driving solution. By using Fleet Director 7, fleet managers gain dramatic advantages such as improved fuel savings, vehicle efficiency, driver productivity, loss prevention, lower insurance costs and higher customer satisfaction. Fleet Director locates, tracks and monitors the position and operations of fleet vehicles, giving fleet managers unprecedented visibility into operations. This latest release utilizes live traffic information from NAVTEQ Traffic to enable dispatchers to re-arrange route priorities and coordinate vehicles on the fly, automatically identify the closest vehicle to a given location for "fastest routing," dashboards, and more.

Maptuit: Maptuit markets and develops NaviGo Advanced GPS Navigation that operates seamlessly on existing telematics solutions. Every fleet is looking for ways to reduce costs, and NaviGo has proven time and again a very strong ROI by significantly reducing miles, fuel usage, and accidents. NaviGo was designed from the ground up to route class 8 trucks based on each fleet's unique routing preferences. To meet the needs of the most demanding customers in the industry, Maptuit has worked with NAVTEQ for its base mapping data.

Telogis: Telogis will display their suite of enterprise location based applications for managing fleets and mobile workforces using NAVTEQ map data and products such as Points of Interest, NAVTEQ Traffic and NAVTEQ Transport. Telogis, Inc delivers robust location and fleet management solutions globally, resulting in improved productivity and reduced operating costs for enterprises. Telogis provides multiple software solutions including OnTrack, a web-based real-time GPS vehicle and driver management, dispatch and route optimization, and handheld products for workforce management. Through its GeoBase(TM) division, Telogis supplies a sophisticated mapping engine and geospatial development platform with features that include rich and detailed maps, navigation, and routing, enabling location based applications.
