Indianapolis, September 28, 2009: For the fourth straight year, RaceFanRadio produced live coverage of the 2009 RoboPong 200 from the New Castle Motorsports Park.
We'll have all of the Qualifying Day and Race Day content available On Demand later this afternoon as our production team edits all of the the 4-hour+, 200 mile event, anchored by RaceFanRadio's Charlie Brown and Greg Wright including guest appearances from various drivers and personalities who attended...
“This is one of the coolest karting races in the country and we’re proud to be a part of it for the fourth straight year,” says Brown, founder of the only music and motorsports radio station of its kind. “Fans get to see some of the best karters in the country compete with top names from IndyCar, Indy Lights and numerous other series…it’s the Rolex 24 of karting!”
Drivers competing from the IndyCar Series include: Dan Wheldon and Ed Carpenter as well as 2006 Indy Lights Champion Jay Howard plus current Lights drivers James Davison, Gustavo Yacaman, Martin Plowman and Brandon Wagner. Star Mazda’s Conor Daly will share duties with Bobby Wilson and there may be some last minute additions for Sunday’s final starting grid.
