August is usually an off month for the RV industry as rentals and RV sales decline after summer vacations. However, RV companies are seeing stronger than usual sales that generally indicates the following year is only going to gain momentum. As RVIA President Richard Coon stated on Fox Business Network, “Sixteen new RV companies have started up this year…campgrounds are full…business is coming back.�??

Camping World RV in Ft. Meyers Florida saw a 15% increase in sales while Nolars RV Center Inc in Denver, CO was up 22% from last August.

Consumers aren’t just renting, nor are they buying economic vehicles. RVs priced at $250,000 are selling.
