DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Wednesday, September 16, 2009) – Tommy Cloce wrapped up
his second track championship in a row this past weekend at Adirondack
International Speedway, an ASA Member Track in New Bremen, NY, by winning
the 50-lap feature event. His win along with capturing the championship
vaults him past Jeremy Miller in the latest Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil ASA
Member Track National Championship standings.

Like Madison (WI) International Speedway 2009 track champion Jeremy Miller,
Cloce will have to wait until the final tally to see if he will be crowned
the 2009 National Champion and have the opportunity for a test session with
Joe Gibbs Racing.

“This is getting exciting!” Dennis Huth, ASA President exclaimed. “We have a
driver from East Coast battling for the championship with a driver from the
Midwest. Yet we also have a driver from Florida, Texas, and Arizona in the
hunt. This is what I call a true All-American short track battle.”

Cloce had a great season at Adirondack as he had nine wins, 15 top-five and
15 top-ten finishes in 15 starts to hold off Andre Roggie for the title by
90 points.

In the battle for the National Championship, Cloce now has an average of
4.7266 over Miller’s 4.5264. Ralph Adams of Havasu 95 Speedway in Lake
Havasu City, AZ is in third with 4.1484 and leads the West Region Standings.
Jeff Mathews from East Bay Raceway Park in fourth with 4.0995 and Clint
LaFont from Thunderhill Raceway in Kyle, TX rounds out the top-five with a
4.0362 average.

This may feel like déjà vu for Cloce as he found himself in the battle for
the National Championship in the late stretch last year as well where he
finished third overall in the standings with an average of 4.7599. Cary
Stapp of Thunderhill Raceway won the 2007 National Championship with an
average of 5.1794 followed by Linny White of Orange Show Speedway in San
Bernardino, CA who had an average of 5.0947.

Like last year, anything can change in the final few weeks as the ASA Member
Tracks complete their 2009 season and report their results to the ASA Office
for tabulation. A reminder, that in order to get an accurate point average
each driver must have at least 14 events on file. To have a shot at the Joe
Gibbs Driven Racing Oil ASA Member Track National Championship, the driver
must also be a 2009 track champion.

“This is far from over,” Huth said. “It would not surprise me if we see this
battle get tight and more drivers give Cloce and Miller a challenge in the
last few weeks. The ASA Member Tracks will be buzzing this weekend as each
driver will be racing their hearts out to compete for the Joe Gibbs Driven
Racing Oil ASA Member Track Championship. I know many drivers would love to
have that one shot with a high caliber NASCAR team like Joe Gibbs Racing.”

The American Speed Association Short Track National Championship is another
step by the industry leader in creating new and innovative programs. This

ASA members in good standing are eligible for a $500,000 Excess Medical

Coverage for the member begins while traveling to a location promoting an

Speed Association, in conjunction with WSIB Motorsports Insurance, is the
only sanctioning body to offer insurance coverage which extends beyond the
boundary of the racetrack itself (complete details are available online at
www.ASA-Racing.com).

The ASA Member Track program is comprised of more than 35 short tracks
