Green Earth Technologies' G-OIL(R) Has First Shipment to Pennsylvania Retail Chain, National Auto Stores

G-OIL(R) SAE 5W-30 is the World's First Bio-Based Motor Oil to Achieve American Petroleum Institutes' Highly Coveted "SM" Certification

STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 17 -- Green Earth Technologies (Pink Sheets: GETG) announced today that their G-OIL Ultimate Biodegradable green motor oils has started to ship and will officially be offered at retail beginning October 1st at National Auto Stores, a family owned and operated business serving eastern Pennsylvania. G-OIL SAE 5W-30 ultimate biodegradable green motor oils met and passed all the engine test criteria for The American Petroleum Institute (API) SM Certification and were officially granted the API "Donut," becoming the first and only bio-based motor oil to receive such distinguished honors.

National Auto Stores is a progressive "green" auto parts retailer and an early adopter of Green Earth Technologies as the first retailer to place an order and commit to GET products. After their first motor oil shipment, G-OIL will roll out to other retailers, quick lubes and online merchants alike in the upcoming weeks and months.

"National Auto Stores has shown their commitment towards Green Earth Technologies since our launch in 2007 and we are extremely pleased that they continue to offer their consumers environment safe choices," says Jeffrey Loch, Green Earth Technologies' Founder and CMO. "We are proud to have G-OIL motor oil sold in their stores as our company strives to create a new GREEN solution within the motor oil category."

"Since 1969, we have prided ourselves in providing our customers with top quality service and top of the line products for cars and trucks. We are proud to stand behind the performance of G-OIL and offer an eco-conscious alternative for our customers," said David Stein, President of National Auto Stores.

G-OIL is the world's lowest petroleum, "eco-friendly," ultimate biodegradable motor oil priced comparatively to synthetics and similarly performing products. Unlike traditional petrochemical-based motor oils from leading manufacturers, Green Earth Technologies' G-OIL is made with American-grown renewable animal fats. These saturated fats, whose molecular single-bond carbon chains are similar to common petroleum oils, have no harsh effects on the environment, and drastically cut our dependence on foreign oil.
