TULLAMARINE, AUSTRALIA – September 14, 2009: Hamilton car dealer Kloster Honda is one of several Honda dealers who this year has invested more than $60 million in creating new, or re-developing existing Honda dealerships.

Despite the industry slowdown, dealer principal of Kloster Honda, Trevor Reading, strongly believes the industry is on the up and set to recapture its previous highs.

“I’m confident that once things start to settle down, there will be a renewed interest in buying cars and the industry will boom again.

“We noticed huge sales in the middle of the year as a result of the Federal Government’s business tax incentives and expect a similar, if not greater impact in November and December when the incentive finalises,” he said.

Mr Reading is confident the new showroom will strengthen the Kloster network, allowing it to further improve the customer experience by offering a destination, not just a place for sales.

“Although the new showroom required substantial funds, we see it as an investment rather than a cost.

“When people are looking for cars, we want them to think of Honda and we are confident our new facilities will help make that happen,” Mr Reading said
