RFR Driver Cap Henry Looks To Finish Strong on
Championship Saturday!
Going into the final weekend of the 2009 F.A.S.T. Sprint Car season, Cap
Henry has his eyes focused on winning the series “Rookie of the Year”
trophy as well as improving his overall finish, currently 8th place,
with less than sixty points needed to vault him into the Top 5.
Two weekends ago, he accomplished one of his goals: to win the Attica
Raceway Park “Rookie-of-the-Year of which he did by finishing well,
allowing him to focus on the remaining two R-O-Y trophies at Fremont
Speedway and the F.A.S.T series rookie title.
“This weekend can be a huge weekend as we get the chance to run hard
and show folks what we really have as a team,” said Henry readying for
the final weekend of competition. “A lot of people don’t understand how
much this might help us to bring new sponsors for next season and doing
well this weekend is my primary goal…and if we get the Rookie
title….well, that’ll be cool too!”
F.A.S.T., the acronym for the “Fremont / Attica Sprint Title” is a
series devoted to winged sprinters racing on two of the top Ohio dirt
tracks alternating between Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway.
This weekend, Cap returns to Attica in hopes of grabbing more points to
leap frog into the F.A.S.T. Top 5 in overall points. With a thirty
point gain tonight, he could grab two more rungs and be knocking on the
door to finish in the Top 5 while completing his first full season in
this highly competitive series.
