Oct. 10 Nationwide Series Race Re-Branded as the “Copart 300”
FONTANA, Calif.--Copart, Inc. , a leading online vehicle remarketer, is proud to announce that the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana on Oct. 10 has been re-branded as the Copart 300. The race was previously the Camping World RV Service 300 presented by Coleman.
Not only is the race named after Copart, but all advertising and print collateral will also include the Copart name and brand. Each ticket will feature the “Copart 300” title, and signs advertising Copart will be displayed throughout the event. Copart representatives will also be interviewed on MRN radio - the voice of NASCAR, and will be given the opportunity to give the command to start the engines, wave the green flag to start the race, and present the trophy to the winner. The race will be broadcast on ESPN2.
“We are proud to sponsor this race at Auto Club Speedway and look forward to a great race,” said Copart President Jay Adair. “The Copart 300 is another opportunity for Copart to get the word out to NASCAR fans that we are the best place to find cars and increase buyer awareness of our brand.”
Copart recently enhanced its website to make it easier for new buyers to search and view vehicles offered at www.copart.com. Copart already has more than 100,000 professional buyers in more than 100 countries that purchase vehicles on Copart.com.
Besides sponsoring the Oct. 10 race, Copart also periodically sponsors three NNS drivers – Kevin Harvick, Ryan Newman and Kelly Bires. Copart also sponsors two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers – Ron Hornaday and Todd Bodine. Bodine and Hornaday are also competing in the Copart Challenge of Champions – a contest which attracts race fans to the Copart website. Fans can vote for their favorite truck driver and enter to win great racing prizes while also browsing Copart’s large inventory of vehicles. To learn more about the contest, visit www.copart.com.
