Narva's Driving Light Merchandisers Enhance Customer Selection And Boost Sales

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – August 31, 2009: The latest innovative merchandising aide from Narva overcomes a problem for retailers seeking to more effectively display driving lamps with results showing increased sales once installed.

Driving lamps generally arrive in display packs carrying attractive graphics and imaging but tend to conceal the actual driving lamps. Although the packs make an attractive display in any showroom, customers generally want to see the actual size of the lamp in comparison with other models available to better visualise them on their own vehicle.

Customers also want to check out the mounting system, the lens optics, look at the various beam pattern options, get a clearer understanding of what comes in the pack and last but not least, touch and feel the product that has attracted their eye. Extensive market trials have proven the new merchandiser allows all this with the result of effectively driving additional in-store sales for retailers.

Existing gondola ends are used with specially designed custom made chrome mounting bars to carry the lamps. Special header cards, information tags and PVC holders are supplied to enable the market leading range of Narva lamps to be easily mounted and attractively displayed. Vital information on each lamp such as visual beam patterns is displayed on information cards mounted for all to see. No longer does the retailer have to unpack a kit to show a customer a lamp nor attempt to repack it once the customer has left the shop.

Packaged driving lamp kits are designed to sit neatly on the gondola shelving below to further enhance the display and also to allow the easy conclusion of a sale once the decision has been made.

Merchandising kits are available to suit both 900mm and 1200mm gondolas with seven and nine display lamps in each respectively. The display lamps all have globes fitted and the original locking nuts have been replaced with normal nuts to allow the mounting to be done without special tools.
