High Speeds...Challenge of Mosport...Bring it on Conor Daly!

Mosport, August 27, 2009: After proving to be the fastest driver at Trois Rivieres two weeks ago, Mazdaspeed driver Conor Daly is currently focused on his next challenge of going even faster at the historic Mosport International Raceway outside of Bowmanville Ontario. The character of the race track is defined by sweeping corners and high speed and Daly had a productive test there last week.

"I really like Mosport," Conor said. "At speeds of near 130 MPH through some of the faster corners, driving here requires real focus. At the same time the track is so interesting and demanding that a driver can generate a good rhythm and a blast to drive. I still can’t believe that in the test I was flat out through turn two at 135 mph pulling 2.7 G’s. My Andersen guys are putting the work into the car so I want to pay them back with a good result."

Conor enters Mosport in fourth place in the season's point championship, 63 points out of first place with a possible 135 points available in the last three races.
