Cycle Country Accessories Corp. Announces Changes to Its Board of Directors

SPENCER, Iowa--Cycle Country Accessories Corp. (AMEX:ATC) announced that it has made changes to its Board of Directors effective August 21, 2009. (Please reference SEC Form 8-K dated Friday, August 14, 2009 and Form DEF 14A dated Friday, August 21, 2009).

The members of the Board of Directors of the company have elected Dan Thralow to fill the Class I Director seat that was previously occupied by Mr. F.L. Miller. Mr. Miller had served the company since 2001, most recently as the Chairman of the Board. His seat expires at this year’s Annual Shareholder Meeting, and his resignation was tendered to facilitate adding Mr. Thralow to the Board. Mr. Thralow will join the Board as an independent director. Mr. Thralow joins the Board as the founder and CEO of Thralow Inc. which was the holding company of over 30 niche internet-based retail sites including Binoculars.com, Telescopes.com and Peepers.com. Each site became the global leader in its category.

The members of the Board of Directors of the company have elected Robert Davis to fill the Class I Director seat that was previously occupied by Mr. Rod Simonsen. Mr. Simonsen had served the company since 2001. His seat expires at this year’s Annual Shareholder Meeting, and his resignation was tendered to facilitate adding Mr. Davis to the Board. Mr. Davis is currently an outside consultant to the company, performing the duties of the company’s Interim Chief Financial Officer. Through his holding company, he has been an entrepreneur and consultant for nearly 20 years, having successfully founded as well as acquired several businesses.

As they are filling the vacancies created by the early resignations of the former directors, both Mr. Thralow and Mr. Davis will stand election at the next annual meeting as Class I Directors with a new term of 3 years.

The Board of Directors also announces the election of Mr. L.G. Hancher Jr. to the position of Chairman of the Board, taking over from Mr. Miller. Mr. Hancher has served on the Board since 2001, and is the Chair of the Audit Committee.
