SPEED TECHNOLOGIES GETS READY TO RUMBLE IN THE TSCO VEGAS TO RENO RACE

-Northern Nevada's Largest off Road Team to Race in the "Longest Off-Road
Race in America"

Reno, NV (August 19, 2009) -- Speed Technologies, one of the largest and
foremost off-road race teams in the world, is gearing up for three days of
grueling off road racing in the 2009 TSCO Vegas to Reno race totaling over
1000 miles. If there's one race that gets the Speed Technologies team fired
up and ready for action it's the TSCO Vegas to Reno Race. The team
previously took home a third place finish in the race and they're ready to
tackle their own backyard - the Nevada wilderness.

"We're always excited about driving home," said team owner and driver John
Harrah. "Nothing would mean more to the team than a win in our home state
- we've been working hard all year towards that and I have a strong feeling
this will be our race."

The formidable teams plans to race their Class 1 2008 Jimco Champion (1528)
with both Chuck Dempsey and John Herder behind the wheel and co-drivers Joe
Weining and John Armos. Both John and Chuck have long careers in off-road
racing including numerous Baja wins including the 500 and 1000.

20th in Beatty, NV and concludes on Saturday, August 22nd in Dayton, NV.
Over 300 different teams compete in the race with over 1000 competitors from
across the world.

"This is a tough race," said Speed Technologies driver Chuck Dempsey. "It's
a lot of miles and a lot of rough terrain, but I feel as if we are prepared
for it and ready to tackle the brutal Nevada Wilderness."

Speed Technologies is sponsored by Bully Dog, Good Year, Soltek, Exotic
Engine, Ringers Gloves, Safety Kleen and FOX Shox.
