Mercedes-Benz Dealer Marshalls Motors Opens Stunning New Showroom

MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA – August 17, 2009: One of Sydney’s largest Mercedes-Benz passenger car dealerships, Parramatta’s Marshalls Motors, has just opened its doors for business in its newly developed state-of-the-art showroom.

The award-winning western Sydney dealership has constructed a vast multi-million dollar retail and workshop facility on Parramatta’s iconic Church Street, better known as Sydney’s ‘Auto Alley’.

The new Mercedes-Benz dealership, which has been designed according to the German car maker’s Autohaus architectural design philosophy, commenced regular trading this week following a gala opening event last Thursday night.

The reason for the extensive investment is to accommodate future growth and to ensure customers are provided with the best possible Mercedes-Benz brand experience.

The new Marshalls Motors site boasts some truly impressive features. They include:

A state-of-the-at showroom more than 1363 square metres in size;

Room for 60 cars to be displayed over two separate floors;

Dedicated customer lounge and café;

State-of-the-art workshop comprising 35 workbays equipped with high-technology tooling populated by an experienced team of hand-picked factory-trained specialist technical staff;

Purpose-built viewing area for customers to watch their car being attended to in the workshop;

Automatic car wasing bays;

Water recycling system to minimise water consumption;

Parking for up to 40 cars onsite

The new building structure also boasts some highly impressive statistics. Around 3000 square metres of concrete reinforced by 150 tonnes of steel underpin the impressive facility. A further 165 tonnes of structural steel teams with 62 pre-cast concrete panels to make the stunning enclosure.

This new facility is the latest in a long line of retail facility investments that have been undertaken by both independent Mercedes-Benz dealer partners and the famous luxury and sports car maker itself.

Recently, Northside Star, an all-new Mercedes-Benz dealership, opened for business in Sydney’s northern suburbs, and construction commenced on the all-new Mercedes-Benz Sydney site in Alexandria, a ground-up construction for what will be one of Australia’s largest authorised Mercedes-Benz dealerships.

In recent years, newly redeveloped Mercedes-Benz retail dealerships have opened in a variety of Australian centres, including Launceston and Hobart in Tasmania, Brighton in Victoria, Chatswood and Illawarra in New South Wales, Darwin in the Northern Territory and both Maroochydore and the Gold Coast in Queensland.
