Battle in the Carolinas Champions Crowned

Champions Crowned in First “Battle in the Carolinas”
at the Little Rock Speedway

ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (August 15, 2009) –  After four days of racing, six  
Legends and Bandolero drivers emerged as champions in the inaugural  
“Battle in the Carolinas” at the Little Rock Speedway.


Grayson Massey took home the championship trophy for the Bandit  
division. Justin Carroll won the Young Guns division championship.  
Scott Hensley won the Young Lions’ championship. Joe Pike won the  
Young Lions’ championship. John Freeman of Concord, N.C. was the Pro  
division champion. Hoyt Dennis took home the championship hardware in  
the Masters division.


The next events scheduled at the Rockingham Speedway are the USAR Pro  
Cup Aaron’s 150 and the ARCA/ReMax American 200 October 9-11, 2009. To

The Rockingham Speedway crowned champions in the first “Battle in the  
Carolinas” Saturday afternoon. Taking home championship hardware were
