ALMS Team Owner and Driver Gil de FerranWith one of the biggest stories in motorsports this past weekend, "On Track On Radio" welcomed Gil de Ferran who spoke about his busy weekend at Mid-Ohio. The 2003 Indy 500 winner and two-time Champ Car champion announced his retirement from driving in the ALMS series on Friday one day before leading flag-to-flag during Saturday's ALMS event. Rumors abound as to who will be signed to drive de Ferran's newly planned team to compete in the 2010 IndyCar season as well as expansion of his ALMS team....

Also on the show was "National Speed Sport News" columnist, Susan Wade. Author of "the Straightline", she gave us the latest on the NHRA and how the "Countdown" is shaping up.
