Six New England States, Two Days, One Tank of Gas in the New 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid

BOSTON--Through Twitter, YouTube and Facebook outreach the New England Lincoln Mercury dealers connected with 20 local small and midsize businesses so that Deal or No Deal models Lindsay Clubine and Katie Cleary can embark on a two-day road trip filled with challenges as Clubine prepares for fall nuptials to Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz.

August 12- August 13, Deal or No Deal celebrities Lindsay Clubine and Katie Cleary embark on the ‘Follow Me to Bliss’ two-day road trip challenge consisting of a series of physical and wedding related challenges as they travel to each New England state covering over 500 miles, relying on one tank of gas, in a ride they affectionately call “Millie.”
Directions, new challenges, phone calls and iPod tunes will be delivered via SYNCŽ and SIRIUS Travel Link™.
The models will participate in challenges such as: tossing wedding bouquets over Fenway Park’s Green Monster where audience attendees can win a pair of Red Sox tickets; playing in a whiffle ball homerun derby in Laconia, New Hampshire; participating in a in a hula-hoop competition in Cape Elizabeth, Maine; and stomping grapes in Newport, Rhode Island.
In the 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid, the diva duo will be able to gauge how fuel efficient their trip is using the car’s SmartGauge™ technology. The smart dashboard presents graphical vines that alert drivers to how efficiently they’re using gas. For example, too much acceleration and the vines wither; just the right amount and the vines grow healthy as visually depicted on the dashboard.
