Robertson Back on the Track:
Hall Holds Strong at Bowman
Winston Salem, NC: Ryan Robertson was back on the track in the #31 Carolina Wood Floors/WCWG CW 20 Chevrolet at the UARA Stars race at Ace Speedway. There was a bit of confusion during qualifying starting Robertson 15th in a field of 20.
The 150 lap race had at least a dozen cautions and it seemed that one caution would breed another. By lap 99 cars checked-up on restart and several, including Robertson, suffered significant damage on the front end. The Robertson crew was able to rapidly repair the car and get him back on the track in the lead lap. Robertson was able to finish the race in 10th place.
"The car was fast and I was ready to get back on the track. It feels great to get a top ten finish our first week back in such a competitive series," said Robertson.
This was Robertson's first UARA race this season and his first race back since the loss of friend and teammate Jason Hoyle.
Scott Hall was also on the track this weekend at Bowman Gray in the #23 Carolina Wood Floors/ WSSU Motorsport Management Chevrolet. He had two great races this weekend starting 18th and finishing 10th and qualifying on the pole and finishing first. These races keep Hall holding strong in 8th place in the Sportsman division at Bowman Gray Stadium with just one race to go this season.
Robertson Motorsports is sponsored by Carolina Wood Floors, WSSU Motorsport Management and the WCWG CW 20.
