DARLINGTON, Aug. 7, 2009: Ticket renewals for the 2010 Southern 500 are underway with prices reduced in nearly every grandstand making it more affordable than ever to attend the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the track “Too Tough to Tame.”

“We are always looking at ways to make attending a race at Darlington more affordable for our fans,” said track President, Chris Browning. “The new pricing structure makes the 2010 Southern 500 an even better value for NASCAR fans who love to see fender-banging, side-by-side racing and non-stop action.”

The new ticket pricing, being rolled out with ticket renewals, is sure to be a hit among NASCAR fans. The new pricing model reduces ticket prices in four of the track’s five grandstands. The new pricing is as follows:

Wallace (Rows 3-6) $85 $59 $26

Colvin (Rows 15-21) $70 $59 $11

Pearson $95 $90 $5

Brasington $95 $90 $5

Additionally, fans that renew by the renewal deadline of September 18, 2009 will save an extra $5 per ticket purchased.

The popular Darlington Raceway Premium Payment Plan also returns in 2010. Fans can choose the Darlington Raceway Premium Payment Plan which allows them to spread the cost of their tickets over four equal monthly payments when they use their Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover card to purchase their tickets.

All renewal incentives are open to fans that purchased tickets in 2009 and wish to do so in 2010. To renew fans can go online to http://www.darlingtonraceway.com/renewals, call the Darlington Raceway ticket office at 866-459-RACE or mail in the renewal order form that they received in the mail.
