DirectView Technology Group, Inc. Announces Appointment of Former General Motors Executive as President and CEO

LINDEN, Mich., Aug. 6, 2009 -- DirectView Technology Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: DVWG), is pleased to announce that the Company has appointed Leonard Baxter as its new Chairman, President, and CEO. He will be heading up the Company that has recently undergone reorganization and is applying to FINRA for a name and symbol change that will help reflect its new direction towards developing a green technology corporation.

Mr. Baxter retired from General Motors after 40 years of service. He held many executive positions in product development, manufacturing, assembly and planning in the US, Canada and Asia. Some of the positions Mr. Baxter held included Global Chief Engineer - Manufacturing; Director Advanced Vehicle Development; Body Chief Engineer as well as numerous leadership roles at component and assembly plants globally. He has a Bachelors in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from General Motors Institute, Flint, Michigan (GMI, now known as Kettering Institute) a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Mc Master University, Hamilton, Ontario, and a MBA from Sloan School of Management, MIT, Cambridge, MA, where he was a Sloan Fellow.

The Company's former acting CEO and President, Brian Riley, will continue to service as a director of the Corporation and will continue to head the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, which markets GPS and asset recovery technology and solutions, which is currently being marketed to governmental agencies via its GSA authorized listings for GPS software and hardware devices.
