Indianapolis, August 5, 2009: VW Jetta Cup Driver Timmy MegenbierBritish Formula Ford Driver Joesef NewgardenStar Mazda Driver Conor DalyTuesday night, we spoke with three young drivers who started their karting careers about the same time and are now racing in three diverse racing series. Timmy Megenbier leads the VW Jetta TDI Cup Series, Josef Newgarden is currently second in the 2009 British Formula Ford Championship and Conor Daly is ranked 3rd in the 2009 Star Mazda Championship.

All three drivers started their racing careers about the same time competing in various karting series and have continued to graduate to "the next level". Chicago native, Timmy Megenbier (18) is leading the VW Jetta TDI Cup series after the first five rounds and will join us following a quick trip to Germany to compete in the Polo Cup Challenge.

Nashville's Josef Newgarden will turn 19 in December and has been racing in the 2009 British Formula Ford Championship with five wins this season and is currently second in the points standings.

Conor Daly lives just outside of Indianapolis and has won in just about everything he has ever competed. Currently third in the Star Mazda Championship, he became the first American and youngest ever to win the Walter Hayes Trophy (FF1600) at Silverstone, England in 2008.

Conor's racing dad, Derek Daly joined the show and offered great advice about how your kid should move up the racing ladder.
