Dealer Summit Launches Four Dynamic Sessions for Automotive Dealers
Four Innovative One Day Seminars Help Auto Dealers Boost Sales
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 30 -- The automotive industry continues to go through some tough and challenging times. Dealers are responding in many creative ways and are turning to new technologies in the hope of increasing efficiency in all aspects of their business. Jeff Frimmersdorf, founder of Dealer Summit and veteran of eBay Inc.'s eBayMotors, has engaged industry experts to participate in a series of hands on training sessions that are designed to provide dealers with important information about these technologies and strategies that can increase visibility online and boost vehicle sales.
Jeff shared, "Our first Dealer Summit in Fort Lauderdale was a great success because of our unique comprehensive approach, and with technology changing at such a rapid pace, we wanted to expand upon that success to establish an ongoing, educational and networking resource for the auto dealer community. Today's dealers are looking for real world solutions that can be implemented quickly and tracked closely to produce tangible results in a short period of time. Based on dealer comments, we structured intensive one-day workshops in key cities with a focus on comprehensive strategies that offer dealers maximum results, and a clear strategic advantage over their competition."
By combining interactive presentations, live demonstrations, best practice sharing, and personalized consultations, participants will leave our event with the knowledge that they need to effectively implement the latest tools, tactics and strategies into their operations.
To achieve this we assembled an experienced team to advance our agenda. Joining DealerSummit is Robert Basha, an experienced internet marketing and sales expert and co-founder of Auction123.com, an eBay Preferred Service provider that assists hundreds of dealers with the management and marketing of their inventory online. Additionally, Mark Dubis, the former editor of Digital Dealer Magazine agreed to help orchestrate these four upcoming events.
Search engines have a strong influence on the vast majority of online auto shoppers, but effectively optimizing your internet presence is a confusing and sometimes expensive proposition for many dealers. We are proud to offer a session hosted by Corey Koberg of WebShare, one of the top Google search engine consulting companies. Corey, a featured Google Seminars for Success National Speaker, will talk about what it takes for dealers to leverage search engines and how it can be a critical part of online marketing. Another one of our presenters will be Dale Pollak, founder of vAuto and author of the book, Velocity: From the Front Line to the Bottom Line. Dale will address the urgency of managing dealership inventory and maximizing profits in the used car department.
Remarketing is a vital part of our business and online wholesale auctions have grown in importance over the last few years. One of the pioneers of the online auction industry OPENLANE has agreed to help sponsor this event, and Andrew Iorgulescu, Vice President and Co-founder will talk about trends and opportunities for dealers in the online remarketing arena and address how virtual inventory can boost online sales.
Dealer Summit's first event is on September 17th, 2009 in San Diego at the W Hotel. Subsequent events will be held in Chicago, Dallas and Fort Lauderdale. All the details and registration information is at the Dealer Summit website.
