Honda Named UK's Most Reliable Used Car Brand

SLOUGH, UNITED KINGDOM – July 30, 2009: Honda has been named the UK’s most dependable used car brand for 2009 by the nation’s leading independent automotive insurance specialist, Warranty Direct.

The title is based on the results of Warranty Direct’s Manufacturer Reliability Index, which evaluates the true cost of the 250 most popular models by looking at reliability, costs of repair, time off road and resale value.

According to the UK results, Honda vehicles had the lowest incidence of breakdown over the previous 12 months.

Warranty Direct listed the Honda Accord (the Accord Euro in Australia) at number one and the Honda Civic at six in its Top 100 Most Reliable Used Cars of the Past Decade, which it released earlier this year.
