Daniels Not Sitting Still While She Recovers From Knee Injury

Davidson, NC: Tiff Daniels, driver of the #94 Love's Travel Stops and Country Store/Wide Open Energy Drink Dodge in the NASCAR Camping World Series East with Hamilton Racing is currently recovering from a torn ACL she sustained on June 29 and had surgery on July 6.
Daniels will be missing what would have been her fourth race with Hamilton Racing at Adirondack Speedway but is hoping to back behind the wheel for the race at Lime Rock Park on August 15.
"Tearing my ACL was extremely frustrating," said Daniels. "Luckily the doctors were able to get me into surgery very quickly. They are impressed with my recovery so far and everyone is staying positive that I will be able to drive in a couple weeks."
Daniels has not let the surgery slow her down with activities off the track. This past week she ventured up to Indianapolis on Thursday to take part in a day full of activities starting with an interview on Sirius Radio's Morning Drive program followed by the 7th Annual Women in the Winner's Circle Awards Ceremony and the 8th Annual Jeff Gordon Foundation Bowling Tournament.
Women in the Winner's Circle Foundation was started in 1994 by Lyn St. James to help female drivers further their driving career through driver development, advocacy, diversity and education. Daniels was joined by other female drivers from around the country to celebrate the success of females in motorsports and to honor those who have supported women in racing.
After the WWCF event was over Daniels headed over to the Jeff Gordon Foundation Bowling Tournament with several other Drive 4 Diversity drivers. The tournament helps to raise funding and awareness for the Riley Children's Hospital.
Voting has begun for NASCAR Camping World Series East Most Popular Driver. Be sure to log onto http://www.nascar.com/news/features/mpd.poll.camping.world.east/index.html to vote for Daniels.
