The upcoming film ‘The Pebble Beach Experience’ will showcase many of these original, rare, and never-before-seen 16mm vintage films creating a story that spans more than 50 years of car history.
Gregory Berkin participated in last August’s 4th annual Pebble Beach Motoring Classic, driving the Lancia over 1500 miles from Kirkland, Washington to Pebble Beach, California, with 40 fellow vintage Motoring Classic travelers. The 1500-mile journey spanned nine days and was documented for the feature film capturing the extreme scenic beauty of the states of Washington, Oregon and California.
The HD film photographed in vivid detail the Pebble Beach Motoring Classic as they visited many exotic locales including the Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood and Mt. Saint Helens, the Bridge of the Gods, Bandon Dunes, Gold Beach, Napa Valley, Crescent City, San Francisco and several of the most renowned private car collections in the world.
During the 59th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this August 16th, the 1957 Lancia Aurelia will be shown for the second time in public since 1965. As a well-kept time capsule which was always garaged, the car will be judged in Class L-2, the Postwar Preservation Class for unrestored vintage vehicles.
