Aric Almirola, Dustin Long guests on www.racefanradio.com's On Track On Radio Monday, July 27

Indianapolis, July 26, 2009: NASCAR driver Aric Almirola and NASCAR journalist Dustin Long will be guests Monday, July 27, on www.racefanradio.com’s On Track On Radio, a weekly motor racing program hosted by Tim Tuttle and Roger Hughes from noon to 1 p.m. EDT.

Almirola has driven in all three of NASCAR’s national series this season. He drove in the opening seven Sprint Cup races for Earnhardt Ganassi Racing before a lack of sponsorship forced the team to park the car. Almirola has made five starts for Billy Ballew Motorsports in the Camping World Truck Series this season and finished a career-best third Friday at O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis. He finished 14th at ORP on Saturday with Key Motorsports in his second start this season in the Nationwide Series.

The well-respected Long covers NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series on a regular basis for three Landmark newspapers, the Greensboro (N.C.) News & Record, the Norfolk (Va.) Virginian-Pilot and the Roanoke (Va) Times. He also is President of the National Motorsports Press Association and a voter for the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

On Track On Radio is in its 10th week on www.racefanradio.com. Tuttle has been covering motor racing for over 30 years and currently is a columnist for SI.com, a contributing writer for NASCAR Scene and a contributing editor for Road & Track. Hughes has been a broadcaster, track executive and series organizer for 15 years.

World of Outlaws Sprint Car champion Donny Schatz and American Le Mans Series Acura LMP1 driver Scott Sharp were last week’s guests.
