Cash for Clunkers Reviving New Car Market

Auto Central July 26, 2009; Our reporters in Denver and Louisville reported that car dealerships are abuzz with buyers. At a Nissan dealer in Denver more that 30 new cars was sold on Saturday with only about 40% Cash for Clunker deals.

As we have been saying, the Cash for Clunkers program although not a solution is a good start to reinvigorate the country's number one economic engine.

The dealers are more than optimistic they are smiling.

The question now is just how long the first billion dollars supporting the progream will last.
