I-55 the Site of the Inaugural World of Outlaws Ironman 55

$20,000 to win at Pevely on Aug. 7-8

PEVELY, Mo. - Fans of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series were
disappointed this spring when the event scheduled at I-55 Raceway was rained
out, but they will get their money's worth and more Aug. 7-8 for the Ironman
55. The WoO stars will race 55 grueling laps for a $20,000 check on
Saturday, Aug. 8, after racing 30 laps for $8,000 the night before.

"Pevely is kind of the martial-arts cage fighting of motorsports!" said
defending I-55 Raceway winner Jason Meyers. "Pevely is one heck of a
bullring. You get very high speeds on a very small track and things are just
happening. If you look back at the records and see the passes for the lead
there, the number has got to be staggering."

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series has traditionally been one of the
biggest draws on the I-55 schedule and this year should be no different. A
two-day ticket, including pit pass for Saturday, is only $50! For more
information on this event and the other great races on the I-55 Raceway
schedule, visit them on the Web at I55Raceway.com or call the track at
636-479-3219. Race fans can also check out Ironman55.com.
