Venturini Crew Invades Studio / Josh Richards and Mike Herman, Jr. Headline Show

Indianapolis, July 24, 2009: A very special "extra edition" of the Venturini Motorsports Power Hour took place last evening when several of the team members invaded the RaceFanRadio studios just before showtime. In town for the Camping World Truck race at O'Reilly Raceway Park, team P.R. Director and part-time front tire changer, Nic Moncher escorted spotter Mike Herman, Jr., rear-tire carrier, John Cartwright, front tire carrier, Chad Colgin, transportation manager, Matt Wolter and tire set-up crewman Dan Drobozski.

Josh RichardsThe completely unscripted, last-minute sessions can be heard at the beginning of the show featuring conversations with Josh Richards (current points leader in the World of Outlaws Dirt Late Model Series) recapped his run in last weekend’s ARCA Re/Max race at Kentucky Speedway and “racer turned driver coach” Mike Herman, Jr. headlined the show.

We also spoke with longtime friend of the Venturini family and team sponsor, Chicago native Jim Bielarz (Nortown Automotive), and right rear tire carrier Mike Doolittle, about his initial sponsorship evolving into becoming a full time crew member. Moncher checked in with the latest developments on the team and shared their hectic schedule supporting the Red Horse Racing team running the Camping World Truck Series Friday night at O’Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis and then heading north to Berlin, Michigan to compete in Saturday’s ARCA Re/Max event.
