Hickory, N.C. (July 24, 2009) –Several of the USARacing Pro Cup drivers will
be making appearances this evening, Friday, July 24 while they are in town
for Saturday night’s Hickory 250 presented by Calico Coatings. Clay Rogers,
Lucas Ransone and Drew Herring will be on hand to meet with fans, sign
autographs and show off their cars at several locations near Hickory Motor
Speedway.



The 2008 Raybestos Rookie of the Year, Drew Herring and his No. 22 BTS Tire
& Wheel Distributors / Hogslat Ford Fusion will be at the Bennett’s Pit
Bar-B-Que in Conover from 5 – 7pm located at 1819 Fairgrove Church Rd SE.



The Hooters of Hickory will be the site for autograph sessions with two-time
Pro Cup Champion and current Series point leader, Clay Rogers and his No.
54s C&C Boiler & Sales Chevrolet.  He will be joined by the leading 2009
Raybestos Rookie of the Year candidate, Lucas Ransone and his No. 00s
Ransone Racing Chevrolet.  The drivers will be there from 5 – 7pm at 1211
13th Avenue Dr SE.



The USAC Ford Focus Midgets will hold a 35 lap event at 6pm, before the Pro
Cup event on Saturday night.  An on-track autograph session with all of your
favorite Pro Cup drivers will be held at 6:45pm and the green flag is set to
wave at 8:00pm.



Tickets for the Hickory 250 are $20 for adults, $10 for Youth (10 – 18
years) and kids 10 and under are free. For more information, contact the

tune into the local FSN station on Sunday’s at 11:00am to watch all the
action from the Pro Cup Series.  The Hickory 250 presented by Calico
Coatings will be aired on August 23.  This Sunday will be the Lucas Oil 200
from Winchester Speedway.
