At Nurburgring Alvaro Parente reached the podium for the first time this season, something that left him stronger and more motivated, expecting that at Hungaroring, where in the next weekend will be held the sixth round of this GP2 season, he may keep the good results flow.

The Hungarian circuit is very different from the German's and has some similarities with Monaco, because of its sinuosity, though is much more forgivable. The Portuguese youngster is aware of the difficulties that he will experience, but he is confident that he may show the pace that he has been demonstrating since the begin of the season and, once again, he expects to fight for the top positions. "The Hungaroring layout is very slow, it has lots of slow corners and has a small straight, which doesn't give too much room for us to relax, and usually this weekend is very hot, which makes the races very tough physically. I think that we may have a competitive car and that makes me very confident for both races", said the Ocean Racing Technology's driver.

Some problems disrupted the begin of the season of the twenty-four years old driver, which prevented him of getting the results that were clearly in his reach. Though, Alvaro Parente was always aware that it was just a bad moment that, sooner or later, would be overcome, as it was possible to verify at Nurburgring. At Hungaroring the youngster from Oporto wants to proceed with the good results and has the podium in his sights. "The results from Nurburgring showed that we have the pace to be in the front of the field. I always knew that we could fight for the top positions and that gave me the will to try even harder and to get good results - the Nurburgring weekend was just fruits of that effort. At Hungary I'll give my best again and I'm confident that, with Ocean Racing Technology help, I may fight for the top-eight and for the podium", underlined with confidence the driver supported by Soccerade, Delta, TMN, Aurora Group, Geotur and Cision.
