Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc. Receives Daimler Trucks' 'Masters of Quality' Award

NORTHVILLE, Mich., July 22 -- Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc. ("Hayes" or the "Company") announced today that its Akron, Ohio facility has been selected as one of the elite Daimler Trucks North America suppliers to achieve the Masters of Quality Award for 2008. The award demonstrates Daimler's recognition of the Company's efforts and success in meeting Daimler's rigid quality requirements and expectations.
