Donny Schatz, Scott Sharp guests on www.racefanradio.com's On Track On Radio Monday, July 20

Indianapolis, July 20, 2009: World of Outlaws Sprint Car driver Donny Schatz and American Le Mans driver Scott Sharp will be guests Monday, July 20, on www.racefanradio.com’s On Track On Radio, a weekly motor racing program hosted by Tim Tuttle and Roger Hughes from noon to 1 p.m. EDT.

Schatz won the prestigious Kings Royal, winning $50,000, at Eldora Speedway on Saturday night for the second time. He’s been the WoO champion the past three seasons, two of them driving for Tony Stewart Racing. Schatz has 98 career WoO victories.

Sharp drives Patron Highcroft Racing’s Acura-02a prototype sports car. He and co-driver David Brabham finished a heartbreaking second Saturday at Lime Rock Park when a tire went flat with a five-second lead with 13 minutes remaining in the two-hour, 45-minute race. Sharp drove in the IndyCar Series from 1996 to 2007, winning nine races. He holds the IndyCar career record for starts with 147 and consecutive starts with 138.

On Track On Radio is in its ninth week on www.racefanradio.com. Tuttle has been covering motor racing for over 30 years and currently is a columnist for SI.com, a contributing writer for NASCAR Scene and a contributing editor for Road & Track. Hughes has been a broadcaster, track executive and series organizer for 15 years.

NASCAR Camping World Series Truck driver and former motocross superstar Ricky Carmichael and NHRA Top Fuel driver Brandon Bernstein were last week’s guests.
