New JCB Volkswagen Van Centre in Ashford Creates 20 New Jobs

MILTON KEYNES, UNITED KINGDOM – July 20, 2009: Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is proud to announce that its dedicated Van Centre network is growing again with the opening of a new, state-of-the-art Van Centre in Ashford, Kent which represents a £1.6m investment and has created 20 new jobs.

The new, purpose-built Van Centre is located at Orbital Park, Ashford, Kent and is owned and operated by the JCB Group. It sells the full range of new and Assured Used Volkswagen vans and people carriers, has a ten-vehicle showroom, and also offers full service and aftersales facilities.

Jonathan Bischoff, Group Managing Director of JCB Group started the company in 1998 and is adding to his standalone Volkswagen Van Centre in Sittingbourne. He also operates a Volkswagen Rental business, Volkswagen passenger car dealerships in Ashford and Medway, plus one of the largest Volkswagen Group parts operations in the country.
