Crum Looks for Second Win at Newport Speedway

Statesville, NC: Jake "the snake" Crum will be looking for his second win with Teddy Mann this weekend in the #99 car. During Crum's first race at the speedway he had fans on their feet at qualifying setting a track record of 12.8 seconds. This weekend will be Crum's second race at the Newport Speedway and the ninth Pro All Star Series (PASS) South Race this season.

"We are very excited to get another opportunity to run at Newport Speedway with Mr. Mann. The Daniel Boone Classic 125 is a great race and we look forward to some good competition," said Jake Crum.

The competition will only continue to grow this weekend if the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250Nationwide Race in Madison, Illinois is rained out Saturday. Kyle Busch has been testing at the Newport Speedway with a time of 13.2 seconds and a rain out may bring him to Newport.

The race will start at 7:30 with the opportunity for autographs prior to start.
