Sept. 12 Camping World Truck Series Race Re-Branded as the “Copart 200”

MADISON, Ill.--Copart, Inc. , a leading online vehicle remarketer, is proud to announce that the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Gateway International Raceway on Sept. 12 has been re-branded as the Copart 200. The race was previously the Camping World 200.

Not only is the race named after Copart, but all advertising and print collateral will also include the Copart name and brand. Each ticket will feature the “Copart 200” title, and signs advertising Copart will be displayed throughout the event. Copart representatives will also be interviewed on MRN radio - the voice of NASCAR, and will be given the opportunity to wave the green flag to start the race.

“We are proud to sponsor this race at Gateway International Raceway near St. Louis, MO., and look forward to the variety of opportunities it provides us to get the message out that Copart is the best place to find cars,” said Copart President Jay Adair. “This sponsorship is just one more way Copart is showing its commitment to increasing buyer awareness by reaching out to NASCAR fans and letting them know about the extensive inventory of vehicles available on Copart.com. It also furthers our goal of making Copart a household name among car fanatics everywhere.”

Copart recently enhanced its website to make it easier for new buyers to search and view vehicles offered at Copart.com. Copart already has more than 100,000 professional buyers in more than 100 countries that purchase vehicles on Copart.com.

“Camping World is actively working to bring new and relevant companies like Copart to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series,” said Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World. “Copart is a great company and they have quickly become one of the leading supporters of the Series, its member tracks, and the teams.”

Besides sponsoring the Sept. 12 race, Copart also periodically sponsors two NCWTS drivers – Ron Hornaday and Todd Bodine. Those two drivers are also competing in the Copart Challenge of Champions – a contest which attracts race fans to the Copart website. Fans can vote for their favorite truck driver and enter to win great racing prizes while also browsing Copart’s large inventory of vehicles. To learn more about the contest, visit www.copart.com.
