RFR Driver Cap Henry to Compete in His First Kings Royal This Weekend!

Indianapolis, July 17, 2009: During most summer months, an 18 year old kid would be hanging with friends and doing things that a normal teenager would do. Cap Henry is not your normal teenager attempting to get away with driving fast and hoping it goes unnoticed while seeking a normal teenage thrill...
This weekend, Cap Henry hopes the entire dirt nation sees how fast he can go as he attempts to run his first “King’s Royal” at Tony Stewart’s famed Eldora Speedway. The World of Outlaws field will be full of talent and the best winged sprinters on the planet will give it everything they have for the $50,000.00 first prize.
“To be in the same pit area with guys like Steve Kinser and Donny Shatz will be a great opportunity for me to gain their respect…but first, I gotta respect them as these guys are the best in the game,” says Henry packing for one of the biggest races this summer. “We want to do everything we can to just to make the show and the team has a great car ready for me…I can’t wait!”
His last two trips to Eldora have given him much needed experience at the famed half-mile high bank dirt track as he has made one of the three major shows he’s attempted. Not bad for an upstate Ohio kid running against some of the wiliest of veterans in the sport.
At mid-season, Henry has finished in the Top 10 seven times out of the fourteen shows made to date and he’s leading the “F.A.S.T. Rookie of the Year” standings while sitting 9th in overall points just 5 points away from 6th position.
At Fremont Speedway, he is the leading rookie and is currently 6th overall in points.
At Attica Speedway, he sits 9th overall and is 2nd in the “Rookie of the Year” points within 10 markers of the leader.
He struggled to make the main event in his last run at Fremont Speedway on July 11th, but came from 18th to 5th before finishing 6th overall and winning the hard charger award for passing 12 cars in the A-main or an average of 2 1/2 cars per lap!
