July 22: NASCAR star Ryan Newman to sign autographs at Office Depot in Carmel

WHO:                          NASCAR star and Indiana native Ryan
Newman, driver of the No. 39 Army Chevy Impala SS in the Sprint Cup
Series. 

 

Newman competes for Stewart-Haas Racing, where he is the teammate of
driver/team owner and fellow Indiana native Tony Stewart. Newman grew up
in South Bend and graduated from Purdue University, while Stewart still
resides in his hometown of Columbus, Ind.

 

WHAT:                       Newman will sign autographs for fans at the
local Office Depot store in Carmel, Indiana. Office Depot is the
Official Office Products Partner of NASCAR and co-primary sponsor of
two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart.

 

                                    Newman, the 2002 NASCAR Sprint Cup
Series Rookie of the Year, will compete in the upcoming Allstate 400 at
the Brickyard race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He is currently
ranked 7th in the Sprint Cup Series point standings and is looking for
his first victory at the Brickyard.

and 500 wristbands will be distributed for autographs (one per person).
The wristbands may be obtained on a first-come, first-served basis at
the store beginning at 8 a.m. local time on the day of the event only.

 

                                    Media members are also welcome to
attend; please note that Ryan Newman will be available for interviews
approximately 20 minutes before the autograph session begins.
