Allstate Agent Connie Jackson, Pontiac Fire & Police Departments to Host Automotive Safety Event and Classic Car Show July 18 in Downtown Pontiac

  WHO:   The Pontiac Fire and Police Departments and Allstate Insurance
         Company Agent Connie Jackson will host an automotive safety event
         on Saturday, July 18, in Lot 9 at the Phoenix Center in downtown
         Pontiac. This free event also will feature a classic car show with
         category winners receiving a plaque and a one-week vacation
         courtesy of Real Card International.

  WHAT:  At this family-friendly event, Jackson will distribute automotive
         safety materials to attendees, including automotive safety kits
         for new drivers, handbooks for teen drivers and Allstate
         parent-teen safe driving contracts.  Local sponsors will provide
         food, music, face painting for children and prize drawings. Guest
         speakers will discuss automotive safety tips and will include
         Pontiac Fire Chief Jeff Hawkins.
