Schreiner ProTech Receives Preferred Supplier Award, Providing Autoliv with Unique Noise-Reducing Covers for Seat Belt Buckles

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 8 -- Schreiner ProTech today announced that Autoliv, the worldwide leader in automotive safety systems, has selected Schreiner ProTech's new noise-control labeling system for automotive seat belt buckles they produce. The unique labels are specially designed to reduce noises produced by the individual components within the buckle hitting against each other during engagement, as well as when the vehicle is in motion.

In order to address Autoliv's needs, Schreiner ProTech developed a tailor-made solution that absorbs undesirable noises emanating from seat belt buckles and reduces the mechanical stress of their individual components. Schreiner ProTech's new label features a velour surface designed to resist fading and abrasion. Visually attractive, the label is available in different shapes to best suit the ergonomic needs of Autoliv's customers.
