Moss to Serve as Grand Marshal of Cheerwine Cherry Bomb 200 at
Rockingham Speedway

Richmond County Native to Wave Green Flag for July Fourth Running

ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (July 2, 2009) – Will Moss, General Manager of
Piedmont Cheerwine’s Raeford (N.C.) Bottling Plant, will serve as the
Grand Marshal for the Independence Day running of the Cheerwine Cherry
Bomb 200 at the Rockingham Speedway.

“It is such an honor to be able to serve as the Grand Marshal for the
Cheerwine Cherry Bomb 200,” Moss said. “I am so thankful to Andy
Hillenburg and his staff for the hard work they have put into this
event. I speak for everyone at Cheerwine in saying we are extremely
excited to be a part of racing at the Rockingham Speedway on the
Fourth of July.”

The Cheerwine Cherry Bomb 200 is a double feature race showcasing
Frank Kimmel’s Street Stock Nationals and the ASA Late Model Series on
July 4th, 2009.

The Street Stocks will race 100 laps starting at 10:00 a.m. on
Independence Day. The ASA portion of the 200 will also include 100
laps of racing for ‘America’s Premier Short Track Series.’

Practice and qualifying for the street stocks and the ASA Late Models
will begin at 11 AM on Friday, July 3.

“I can’t think of a better way to spend the Fourth of July than with
some exciting racing at ‘The Rock’ and an ice-cold Cheerwine,” said
Rockingham Speedway President Andy Hillenburg. “The Frank Kimmel
Street Stocks put on a heck of a show at the Polar Bear 150 and it
should be a better show for our fans this time around. Also, we are
looking forward to seeing the show that the ASA Late Model Stock Cars
will put on in their first trip to the speedway.”

Tickets for the Cheerwine Cherry Bomb 200 are $10 for adults with
children under 12 admitted free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
There is no admission charge for events at the speedway on Friday,
July 3. For more information or to order tickets, please contact the
