Daly Looks Forward After Dealing With A Tough Day

Milwaukee, June 20, 2009: Mazdaspeed driver Conor Daly had to deal with the results of a tough day at today's Star Mazda Championship round at the Milwaukee Mile. Qualifying P3, after a rain-shortened practice and a hectic qualifying session, Daly looked forward to a good result. Unfortunately, it was not to be when Andersen Racing teammate Richard Kent and Conor came together at Lap 1 putting both drivers in the wall.

"We qualified well and in a good position to have a solid run at my first oval race," Conor said. "Unfortunately, it didn't work out. As I said earlier in the week, however, I'm running for a championship so I have to put the incident behind me and get ready for my next oval at Iowa."
