Around 50 of these will be electric buses to add to the 50 brought in during the 2008 Olympic Games, with a further 860 using hybrid powertrains. FedEx delivers hefty emissions cuts with global hybrid van fleet

--A joint trial in Italy by FedEx Express and truck maker Iveco is using 10 state-of-the-art hybrid vehicles based on the Iveco Daily van. Initial results show a 26.5% cut in fuel consumption with a corresponding reduction in CO emissions of 7.5 tonnes compared with a traditional vehicle. Full Story

Hydrogen-Powered Two-Seater Unveiled in UK
