Dana Point, June 10, 2009: Current Atlantic Champion Markus Niemela has been taking advantage of a new physical training regime developed and managed by Santa Monica-based Performance Phsixx. Markus' new program was developed by well-known human conditioning coach Simon Hayes. Mr. Hayes has has spent over 20 years personally training some of the worlds highest profile professional motor racing drivers, including many professional drivers in the British Touring Car Series, Le Mans 24 Hour teams, Formula 1, Rolex Sports Car Series, ALMS, and Indy Car Series.
"Simon is helping me increase my stamina, focus and reflexes. Since most people know that I already like using different training processes, the Performance Phsixx program is still going to be a step-up from my own program. It's really bearing early fruit and I'm looking forward to getting stronger and faster."
