Purchase Labor Day Weekend Tickets for Dad and To Drive the Track Free

HAMPTON, June 5, 2009 If you’re looking for something special for Dad this Father’s Day, Atlanta Motor Speedway has a unique gift idea for your Dad – tickets and an opportunity to drive on AMS’ 1.54-mile NASCAR quad-oval track!

If your Dad is a NASCAR fan, what better gift is there than tickets to Atlanta Motor Speedway’s inaugural NASCAR night racing weekend on Sept. 5 and 6 and the opportunity for Dad to drive his car on the high banks of Atlanta Motor Speedway?

With a ticket purchase to any event during the Sept. 5 – 6 Labor Day Classic 500 weekend before June 20, fans can bring their Dad to Atlanta Motor Speedway to participate in a track ride on Saturday, June 20 between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. For fans purchasing in advance or the day of, track ride vouchers can be picked up at the Atlanta Motor Speedway Ticket Office and fans will check in at the infield media center before their track ride. Each track ride will be paced by the official Atlanta Motor Speedway pace car.

Atlanta Motor Speedway has two ticket specials especially well suited for Father’s Day gift ideas, the Labor Day Classic 500 Family 4 Pack and the Saturday NASCAR Fans-of-Tomorrow Special.

The Labor Day Classic 500 Family 4 Pack includes four Elliott Grandstand tickets to Atlanta’s first NASCAR Sprint Cup night race, four hot dogs and four Coca-Colas for just $159. The Saturday NASCAR Fans-of-Tomorrow Special allows adults to buy a regular-priced Earnhardt Grandstand ticket to Saturday’s Degree V12 300 Nationwide Series race and NASCAR Sprint Cup qualifying for $25 and their children (ages 12 and under) can attend the action free of charge.
