With An Eye To The Future Mazadaspeed Driver Conor Daly Attends British F3 Championship Round

Rockingham, England June 2, 2009: In the interim between his first oval test’s at Milwaukee and Iowa and his next Andersen Racing test session in New Jersey June third and fourth, 2009, Mazdaspeed driver Conor Daly and his Dad flew to England to take a close-up look at racing in Europe. During last weekend's British Formula 3 event at Rockingham, the youngster spent time with many of the leading F3 teams including Richard Duttons Fortec Racing. Conor will test in England during his summer school break and is also negotiating to do some European races during the same time period. Conor’s next race event will be the fourth and fifth round’s of the Star Mazda Series, at the New Jersey Motorsports Park double header weekend, June 13th-14th

About Conor Daly

Conor Daly, son of former Formula One/Indy car driver Derek Daly, drives for Andersen Racing as a member of the Mazdaspeed driver development system. In 2009 he will contest the thirteen round Formula Star Mazda championship. In 2008 Conor won the Walter Hayes Formula Ford Trophy in England for Team USA, the Ontario Formula Ford Rookie of the Year title driving for Brian Graham Racing, and the Mazda Skip Barber National championship.
