Infiniti Europe Appoints New Sales Director

ROLLE,SWITZERLAND – May 27, 2009: Philippe Saillard (43) has joined Infiniti Europe in the new position of Sales Director. Saillard will be responsible for Infiniti’s further development in Europe as the premium, automotive brand continues to grow its presence with launches in the UK and Germany due for later this year and more new product on the way, too.

Saillard will report to Vice President, Jim Wright, and will be based at the company’s headquarters near Geneva in Switzerland. He has 17 years of automotive industry experience, most recently as Sales Director for Nissan West Europe (France, The Netherlands). Saillard’s team will include Infiniti Europe’s Regional Directors and Corporate Sales departments.

Commenting on his appointment, Saillard said: “Infiniti has already successfully launched in many countries across Europe. There are more to come not least the important markets of the UK and Germany. We are also about to enter the second phase in our product offensive with the G37 Convertible/Cabrio due for introduction in September, and then the M Sedan and V6 Diesel in 2010. It’s an exciting time to join the brand. Infiniti’s line-up and our retail concept are unique – we will continue to expand our European market presence.”
