Aston Martin One-77 to Headline Numerous UK Public Debuts at Salon Prive 2009

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – May 13, 2009: Salon Privé, the International showcase for high-end prestige and super car manufacturers, is to feature a number of outstanding World & UK public debuts when the event takes place at London’s Hurlingham Club on the 22, 23, 24 July 2009.

Aston Martin’s fabulous new flagship model, the One-77, which was recently unveiled to the world at the Villa d’Este in Italy, makes its first public UK outing at this year’s event alongside two other significant new Aston models - the V12 Vantage and the DBS Volante.

Maybach has chosen the July event to debut its stunning new Zeppelin model, inspired by the original Maybach Zeppelins of the 1930's. The new model will continue its legacy of offering imposing styling and unparalleled luxury, and the 6.0-litre, V12 car is sure to attract huge interest from visitors to the show.

The historic Maserati brand will be showing two significant new additions to its range at Salon Privé - The GranTurismo S Automatic and the Quattroporte Sport GT S. The GrandTurismo S Automatic features the new combination of its 440 HP, 4.7 V8 engine with a ZF 6-Speed automatic gearbox. Another

exclusive debut is the new Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S, described by the company as “a real driving machine in the guise of a luxury saloon”, and the new model features the same V8 440 HP, 4.7 litre engine found in the Grand Tourismo S.

Salon Privé offers a uniquely exclusive environment in which premium & specialist manufacturers can genuinely display their rarest and most valuable models openly and safely to guests attending the event. Such is the events exclusivity, that several international specialist sports car manufactures have also chosen to debut new cars at the event. This year, Swiss company Sportec, which specializes in turning production sports cars into hyper-exclusive, high-specification, low-volume stand-alone models, will be showing its Porsche 997 based SPR 1 model, capable of an astonishing 380 km/h.

Vermot Veritas will be making a global debut with its V10 powered, RS III super car while legendary British manufacturer Lotus will be showing its new Evora model. Another highlight will be the appearance of the exciting new offering from Malvern based Morgan Motor Company who will be showing their recently launched Aero Super Sport.
