New Mercedes-Benz Dealership Opens in Sydney: Northside Star

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – April 29, 2009: A new authorised Mercedes-Benz dealership has opened in Sydney’s northern region.
The newest star to shine under Sydney’s skies is now open for business, and will this evening celebrate its official addition to the three-pointed star’s successful 30-strong authorised sales, service and repair dealer network in New South Wales.
Located on the Pacific Highway at Waitara, Northside Star will provide top-level service for the sale, maintenance and repair of both Mercedes-Benz cars and vans in what has long been a hallmark area for the German luxury marque.
This all-new Mercedes-Benz dealership is situated in the northern Sydney region, its position selected to not only attract many new passenger car and van customers to the world of Mercedes-Benz, but also provide current customers easy access to a professional sales and service facility in a convenient location.
The establishment of Northside Star and its initial investment phase is a strong signal of the anticipated customer growth expected in this part of Sydney and its surrounds.
Ongoing investment in showroom and workshop facilities, staff, training, and equipment is planned.
Less than a kilometre from the dealership’s current location a completely new showroom and workshop establishment is currently under development, and has been designed according to the architectural principles of the long-standing Mercedes-Benz Autohaus idiom.
This all-new facility will boast more than 500 square metres of showroom space, along with a state-of-the-art workshop featuring the latest repair and diagnostic equipment for all Mercedes-Benz cars and vans. Completion is expected by the end of this year.
Northside Star will be officially opened this evening by the President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific, Wolfgang D. Schrempp and Northside Star Dealer Principal Greg Stewart.
Commenting on tonight’s official opening of Northside Star, Mr Schrempp was keen to emphasise the uniqueness of this occasion and the selective nature of expanding the successful Mercedes-Benz retail structure.
